ARCA UNLIMITED was asked to develop a modular pod system that can be flat packed and assembled anywhere in the world. The system must be adaptable for a range of uses from extra work from home workspace, extra room or even a children play area. The need was identified during covid, with the massive change in the work-from-home experience, and that most households do not have adequate space available. Especially in a country like the UK. The system was designed to be made of standard elements, which could be assembled in different forms. The internal fittings are designed to be ordered based on the intended use.
