ARCA unlimited was appointed to design a holiday unit/pod that can be manufactured in a factory and, with minimal construction, be assembled on site in the bush in limpopo. The building was designed using imported plywood that would be cnc’d as a set of parts and “flat-packed” to be shipped and assembled on site. the design was based on a two-bedroom unit but could easily be reconfigured as a single-bedroom unit as well.
